Terms of Service

Version 2026-08-11

1. Who you are agreeing with

SLCTD is operated by SLCTD LLC, of Warwick, Rhode Island, USA(“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account.

2. What SLCTD is

SLCTD is a marketplace. Independent sellers list limited releases and decide what they sell, at what price, in what quantity, and on what terms. We provide the platform, run the allocation, and take payment on the seller’s behalf. We are not the seller. The contract of sale for any item is between you and the seller who listed it.

3. Your account

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live. Keep your password and two-factor device secure; you are responsible for what is done through your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access to it. One person, one account — additional accounts created to gain more entries in a drop will be removed along with their entries.

4. How a drop works

You do not buy by being fast. You configure a Worker — an instruction saying what you want, what you will pay, and what you will accept instead — and it enters on your behalf when the drop opens.

When entry closes, every entry is ordered using a random seed we publish a cryptographic commitment to before entry opens, and reveal afterwards. Each entry’s position is derived from that seed and the entry’s own identifier, so anyone can recompute the whole ordering and check it against the published result. Units are then allocated in that order.

Nothing you can buy affects that ordering. Paid features change how many drops you can be in at once and how many alternates you can list; they do not change your position, your odds, or the order in which entries are served. You get one entry per drop however many Workers you own.

Entering is not a guarantee of anything. Most entries in a contested drop receive nothing. Losing costs you nothing and you are not charged.

5. Payment

When you enter a drop you authorise us to charge your saved payment method, without you being present, if and when you are allocated units. Before you enter, the screen states the maximum you can be charged; we will never charge more than that for that entry.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details. Charges are made on the seller’s behalf and the seller is the merchant of record for your purchase — their name is what appears on your statement. We deduct a platform fee from the seller’s proceeds; it is not added to your price.

If your bank declines the charge, or asks for confirmation you do not give within the window shown on the drop, the units are released and the order does not happen.

6. Delivery, refunds and returns

The seller fulfils the order, sets the shipping cost shown before you enter, and is responsible for the item being as described. Their returns policy and window are shown on their storefront and on the drop.

Refunds are issued by the seller through the platform. Where the law where you live gives you a right to cancel or return that is stronger than a seller’s policy, that law applies and nothing here removes it. If a seller does not honour it, contact us at ryanc8500@gmail.com.

7. If you sell here

You must be able to lawfully sell what you list, and you are responsible for the accuracy of your listings, your stock, your fulfilment and your own tax obligations. Publishing a drop reserves the stock and fixes its price, quantity and rules — you cannot raise the price after seeing demand, or cut the quantity after seeing who entered, and the platform will not let you.

We take a percentage of each order, shown on your settings page and deducted at settlement. Payouts are made to your connected Stripe account; new accounts may have payouts held for a period before they are released, which is stated when you onboard. Counterfeit, misdescribed or undelivered goods are grounds for suspension and for withholding funds not yet paid out.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use SLCTD to break the law, to attack the service, to interfere with the allocation, to create additional accounts for extra entries, to scrape or automate against it beyond what a normal browser does, or to impersonate anyone. We may suspend or remove accounts that do, and remove their entries from a drop before it is drawn.

9. Suspension and termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is scheduled with a 30-day grace period, during which signing in cancels it; after that your account and personal data are removed. Completed orders survive as financial records with your identity removed from them — see the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. Where we do so and money is owed in either direction, it stays owed.

10. Availability

We do our best to keep the platform running, particularly while a drop is open, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. The service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

11. Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the total platform fees we earned on your transactions in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits or for the value of an item you did not win.

12. Changes

We may change these terms. When we change them materially we publish a new version here and ask you to accept it. The version you agreed to is recorded against your account.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Rhode Island, USA, and disputes will be heard there. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law where you live.
